Haven't posted in awhile so go piece of cake if at that place's something I'yard missing hither.
Eddie Bauer is offering its annual cold-weather condition sale. This is a pretty sturdy parka for those looking to ride out the residual of the winter. It's currently 50% off from $419.00 making it $209.50 before tax. I got this aforementioned parka last twelvemonth effectually the same time for about $xx less (aggrandizement).
Simply took a quick wait and there are still plenty of sizes available all three colours, Blackness, Nighttime Charcoal and Indigo Bluish. I believe you can render online purchases in store equally well if it doesn't work out for you.

Depends what your use instance I estimate. Your getting more for your buck with a parka.

These are probably RFD's top 2 jackets. Can't go wrong with either but personally not a fan of the look/fit of the gotham jacket. Tried both and went with EB.

This is a FANTASTIC jacket, and or me, was a better fit than the Gotham. At this price, it's a no brainer really.
I had a instructor friend accompany me when I bought it in store a few years ago. There is a discount for teachers and another professions. Not sure if that is still the case, simply worth checking if yous have a store near y'all.

I picked up this jacket a couple of years dorsum for $140 (seventy% off). Very well made, take used this jacket in extreme common cold conditions of Alberta (up to -35 degC), with no issues whatsoever. I take quite a few jackets of other brands, but this is my become-to jacket for winter weather condition at present. It covers you well, gives you excellent wind and water protection and looks great. From the within, it has moisture wicking material, so doesn't make yous sweaty. Doesn't affair the temperature outside, I just put information technology on a t-shirt and off I go. I would buy once again for $210 if I didn't have it already.

Constitute the Gotham fit to be sloppy - too amorphous in the gut area and sleeves but tight on the arms/pits. I'1000 not a large guy either. I think with most puffy jackets it looks amend on slim builds, otherwise it puts emphasis your thiccness.

Reading up on the reviews it definitely feels similar they are skimping on the down, people are maxim they felt cold in -10. I've also noticed the in store jackets are a lot lighter than the former EB jackets from 10-15 years ago. I yet accept a long parka from way back and it's starting to testify it's age, the downward is starting to come out in spots.

I got the grey as well. Prefer that over the black when its pitch dark outside. Make yourself visible to oncoming traffic

Agreed that jackets x years ago felt more "full", might exist an effect for people back Eastward or in the Prairies. It doesn't get also cold in southern BC so -10 works when I get snowshoeing or a light hike.

Eddie Bauer's always 50% off so this is really just the regular price. If yous desire a genuine bargain on one of these you usually have to look for in-store just prices or meliorate yet the EB outlet stores in the off-season. I got mine on a ane-day Canada Day sale effect for $l when it was sunny and over 30C outside but I've never seen such a deal repeated since.

Meh, the quality went down in the last couple years and they got rid of the lifetime warranty a year later my winter jacket started leaking h2o inside when it's supposed to be water resistant. Couldn't take information technology dorsum or anything.

I have this jacket just information technology's a couple of years old.
Pros: it laughs at the cold. Really deep pockets.
Cons: It'due south very heavy.
